IN LOVING MEMORY of JOHN ENTWISTLE, OCT. 9, 1944- JUNE 27, 2002
John Entwistle. The best bassist that ever was and will be. Sadly, he passed away on the eve of the Who's tour on June 27, 2002 in his Las Vegas hotel room. I am deeply saddened. I would like to take this time now to say a few words about him. He was talented, funny, caring, and I will deeply miss him. His music filled a void in my life. And now I would like to say a few words to John. I love you, and I will always love you. Just like I'll always miss you, but everytime I listen to one of your songs, I will remember your smile. You're probably up in heaven laughing at me because I cry everyday because I miss you, and knowing you, you wouldn't want me to cry. But I do. I love you, John!
